Student Council
The Hounslow Music Service Student Council will represent the voice of our diverse student body, promote their ideas, and support their views and interests. It will also be a vehicle which will provide leadership and development opportunities for our young people.
The views and ideas given by the Student Council will help ensure that our provision meets the diverse need of our young musicians.
How Does it Work:
- Initially, applications to be part of the Student Council will be available to any young musician who attends any HMS ensemble or is a member of the Saturday Morning Academy. The closing date for initial applications is noon on Friday 11th February 2022.
- After an initial period, members of the council will be nominated by peers.
- The Student Council will meet once a term (initially over ZOOM) and meetings will be facilitated by Miss Stepkowska.
- Agenda items will be wide ranging, and it is hoped that many will be brought by members of the Council following discussions with peers.
